Zowies back and better then ever with the EC-B line of mice, utilizing a brand new sensor and updated shell. For the first time in a long time, Zowie’s updating from their signature 3310’s to a 3360. As far as the sensors performance, the 3310 was already near perfection and the 3360 operates similarly, but with slightly less hiccups when put through rigorous testing. While the 3310 sensor would occasionally have issues tracking when the mouse was tilted on its side at a >45 degree angle, the 3360 sensor doesn't seem to suffer the same fate, and can be considered the best sensor that Zowie has used in any mouse. The difference between the EC2-B and the EC-1B is cosmetic only, with the EC2 being the smaller and lighter of the two mice. The shell has had some small refinements from the EC-A series, including new and improved buttons as well as textural finish. As is the Zowie standard, this mouse doesn’t require any drivers to set it up. The dpi is customizable via a button, and the polling rate can be set while plugging in the mouse.
