Razer went back to the drawing board with the Mamba Tournament Edition and were able to put out a non wireless version of the original, at a much more affordable price. The classic large shell is back with great ergonomics as well as custom rubber grips to give the user added dexterity when tracking enemies in game. Everything is customizable from the DPI, to the polling rate, surface calibration, RGB colors and much more via Razers Synapse driver. Like the original Mamba however, the Tournament Edition comes stocked with a 5G laser that unfortunately has had issues reported to the effect of bad tracking at certain speeds. While the issues are reported to be more prominent in FPS games then in others, we wouldn’t recommend this mouse for serious Esports professional players or aspiring pros. A similar alternative can be found with the Razer Deathadder line. They have a very similar shell, and a far superior sensor to the Mamba.
Professional players currently using this mouse include: Kenz (Rainbow Six:Siege), Toasty (Rainbow Six:Siege)
